All Forms of English Language and Literature GCSE and IGCSE Exams (All Boards)
Regardless of what form of GCSE and IGCSE English exam you are preparing for, you can count on Professional English Tutoring Ltd. to set them on the path to success. I teach all examination boards, including AQA, Edexcel, Cambridge OCR, Eduqas, and others.
The duration and depth of GCSE English lessons are tailored to the needs of the pupil and their parents. Naturally, the more time we have, the more elements of the course we can cover, and the greater the detail we can go into.
Ideally, students start in or before Year 9, so I can spend time diagnosing their needs and teaching them analytical and creative writing skills, as well as how to study literary works. This is also a good time to encourage pupils to read independently, which makes a big difference to their GCSE results.
A GCSE English Tutor in Stourbridge Who Delivers Results
As a lecturer at a local Further Education college, I taught GCSE and A-level English Literature, and I ran the GCSE English provision for five years. In this capacity, I helped students who had failed to gain the required GCSE Language grades.
During this time, I also developed a range of teaching resources and, most importantly, learned to see the potential in young people who had lost confidence in themselves.
As a GCSE English tutor in Stourbridge and online, I take pride in the fact that many of my pupils have improved considerably in just a few months. I have developed strategies – and my own resources – for supporting pupils through difficulties and getting them reading and writing effectively, whatever their level.
