How much do you charge?
All GCSE and ESL lessons are charged at £40.00 per hour, and A level lessons are charged at £48.00. The fees for undergraduate or above are £55.00 per hour. Please refer to my guides on GCSE, A Level and Undergraduate Tuition Fees and ESL Tuition Fees for full pricing details.
How many hours a week is good for tutoring?
The length and frequency of all GCSE, A level and ESL lessons is completely negotiable, and it can be tailored to suit your particular requirements. However the minimum length for all lessons is one hour, regardless of level. Obviously, the more time we have, the more material we can cover.
Do you travel to pupils’ homes?
I don’t. Pupils based within travelling distance of Stourbridge, West Midlands, who wish to attend in-person lessons are welcome to come to my home. This includes all of Dudley Metropolitan Borough, North Worcestershire, Birmingham and nearby areas. For online teaching, pupils could live anywhere in the world.

Having trained as an ESL teacher soon after completing my undergraduate degree, I taught this over the next few years before renewing my ESL qualification in 2026.

- Advanced English, helping C1 + speakers in a wide variety of directions, including for example developing vocabulary and gaining understanding of nuance, collocation, register and appropriacy;

- Business English, including emails, meetings and presentations.
