Who Are Advanced English Classes for?
Advanced English is ideal for students of C1 English level or above who want to extend their proficiency, deepen their knowledge and understanding of any aspects of English language or English literature, or simply develop their confidence to achieve their full academic potential.
Whether you want to move towards native fluency in one or more of the four skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening), or you have a specific goal in mind, you can count on Professional English Tutoring Ltd. to get you there.
As with other types of ESL teaching, such as General English, Business English, English for Specific Purposes and exam preparation, I practise a student-first approach. Once we have discussed your goals, we will tailor all lessons exclusively to your individual needs, even as they change and develop throughout the course.
Learn Advanced English with a Professional English Teacher
As a qualified and experienced ESL teacher, I always aim to understand each pupil’s individual needs as fully as possible, producing lessons which will foster their language learning while simultaneously building their confidence.
For example, your lesson plan might involve one or more of the following objectives:
- Development of vocabulary through discussion, debate, text analysis (fiction, journalism or literary non-fiction);
- Extension of grammatical knowledge and application;
- Refinement and development of all aspects of pronunciation (phonetics, intonation, stress)
- Development of written skills, including structuring and refining arguments.
Whatever your end goal may be, you will benefit from my breadth and depth of expertise in language and linguistics wherever it is relevant.
